Leash walking A workshop to discover how a walk with your dog on a leash can be a real sharing experience, and not a constraint or worse, a moment of conflict. During this workshop, you will learn ways to improve communication with your dog. You will live experiences that will teach you how to understand why a dog pulls or stops and no longer moves forward, and you will learn how to help the dog. Leash walks will turn into adventures for you and your dog, during which you will grow together, while strengthening your bond. We will go for short walks of approx. 15 minutes in urban areas. During this time, I will accompany one binôme (owner/dog) at a time, while the group follows and observes. 3 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. De-briefing and possibly plan for next steps. Price: 50 CHF Registration is validated upon receipt of payment. In case of cancellation the amount will be refunded only if announced up to 1 week before the start of the workshop. Times and locations may vary depending on weather conditions, in which case we will decide as a group how to proceed. Depending on the number of participants, the program can be adapted. In this case, we will discuss it as a group: time and duration of the lunch break, and the schedule for the afternoon. FAQ What is the date of the next workshop? May 25, 2025 How can we pay? You can pay by Twint or e-banking. Until what date are registrations accepted? Approximately 3 days before the workshop date, but with flexibility. What will happen if there are not enough participants? Will the workshop be canceled? It will depend on the number. The workshop may be postponed. But in principle, no, I won't cancel. In the event of a change (weather), how will we organize ourselves? If the weather forces us to change the date, I will send a Doodle to set a new date. How will we communicate? There is a WhatsApp group for communication, participants are added to the group once signed-up. Can two of us come to accompany one dog? Yes, you just have to tell me in advance. In the afternoon, if there are more than 5 participants, what do we do? There may be two groups, the program will be revised depending on the number of participants. If there are two groups, while the first group is working, what will the others do in the meantime? People who are not working can take a longer break/walk with their dog, the program will be reviewed depending on the number of participants. If my dog has trouble staying alone in the car, can I stay with him? The goal is to avoid stress for the dogs. We will discuss each case individually, and I will do what is necessary to ensure everyone benefits as much as possible from the experience, without stress, fear, or anything else. Are there any other workshops already scheduled? The idea is to offer several workshops to progress together. Depending on demand, I will set other dates and publish them on social media. At the end of each workshop, there will be the opportunity to organize the next steps to move forward together by setting goals based on the wishes of each one.

Mantrailing Mantrailing is an activity during which your dog will learn to search for a missing person by following their scent on a trail. This "treasure hunt" can be done anywhere: forest, countryside, city, and it is an activity that can be offered to all breeds and kinds of dogs of all ages. No special requirements, no particular experience is required, neither for you nor for your dog. This is one of the few activities where we humans dive into the dog's world - they are the experts here, we just need to learn to trust them and help them trust themselves! We work with one dog at a time, while the others are working, your dog will spend some time in your car; so it's a good idea to plan a walk before training, but make sure you don't walk around the meeting area, so as not to leave your scent before we do the work Once there, we discuss the plan (in what order we work with the dogs), and we review the equipment If there are more than 3 of you, one person can stay near the cars with the dogs. Mantrailing is a great activity that really helps you discover your dog's abilities and helps you and your dog become a real team! During this activity you will strengthen your relationship and learn to read your dog better. If your dog has fears or phobias, this activity can really help him boost his confidence and resilience.

Dog walks When you're out all day or you don't have time because you're too busy, I am available to come to your home, collect your doggy and take him/her for a walk aimed at his/her needs and wishes, and afterwards I bring them home. Active walks An active walk is an opportunity to live everyday experiences with my guidance to help you gain a better understanding of what your dog is telling you when faced with different events and how best to react. During these encounters we can organise many different activities. We do game-based training, teaching basic obedience, such as leash-walking, heel-walking, basic positions (sit, down, stand), recall. The aim is to share moments of learning so that the duo (dog and human) can reinforce their relationship (bonding) and complicity while learning something useful. When possible, we let the dogs interact. During these interactions we observe and analyse together what is taking place between the dogs so as to try and understand how the dogs are living the experience. This is pure observation with no judgement. Interactions Exercises with whatever the environment offers Leash-walking How When two or more people are interested, we will organise group walks according to participant's availability. Where Locations vary but mainly Engollon, Pierre-à-Bot, Les Fourches (above St-Blaise), and St. Blaise Port. Then in 2011 I became god-mother to Melo, a black labrador that Céline rescued. That's how it all started, our lives crossed over on and off until late 2019, when our passion for dogs culminated in a real mentor-mentee relationship. Céline, with her 30+ years of experience in dog education and dog behavior, started coaching me and my dog-journey began. After one year of assisting Céline in private and group lessons, and taking Dog Education and Nutrition courses, we are now working together. Collaborative learning A training program in which you work with your dog, collaborating. The dog actively participates; both owner and dog share the learning journey, contributing equally to the development of new skills for on another. They will be different exercises that help the dog learn to let itself be handled and touched while feeling safe, maintaining control of the situation and without constraint. For example: at the end of the course, a dog will give his full consent to be muzzled, he will let the owner brush him, clean his ears, examine his eyes, touch his paws, etc. Collaborative learning differs from from the concept of positive reinforcement based on commands and rewards. Here we give the dog information rather than commands, and the emphasis is on the sense of security, predictability, and freedom of choice. This approach strengthens the relationship between owner and dog because, since there are no commands, it's always the dog who gives us permission to continue or asks us to stop. This is what creates a sense of security, because the dog knows what to expect. Since it is scientifically recognized that dogs are sentient and social mammals, subject to emotions and fears just like us (humans), working with this fully collaborative approach helps us solve much more than just handling problems. It takes time and patience, but the results are astonishing. The dog learns to trust his owner, and the owner learns to listen to the dog, respect his pace, and release the pressure of expectations. Céline Jenny About me Depuis ma plus tendre enfance j’ai partagé la majorité de ma vie auprès des chiens. Petite je dormais avec les chiens de chasse agressifs de mon Grand-Papa. A 9 ans ma première chienne Aska (croisée labrador) entre dans ma vie. Une chienne de 8 mois avec un passé compliqué. Elle m’accompagna jusqu’à l’âge de 15 ans. Quelques années plus tard Jessy (Golden retriever) me rejoindra pour 15 ans de bonheur et de partages. Nous ferons ensemble une formation pour qu’elle devienne chienne de thérapie au sein des homes pour personnes âgées. Une tâche qu’elle pris à coeur. Nous avons aussi participé à des concours de sanitaire (recherches en forêt), Mobility et obéissance. 2 ans après l’arrivée de Jessy, je me décide d’acheter un deuxième chien Lucky-Luke (Berger Australien noir tricolore) avec qui je rejoins REDOG (un rêve de toujours). Lucky à été formé comme chien de recherche en décombres, terrains vagues, forêt et a fait plusieurs entraînements comme chien d’avalanche, Agility, Mobility, obéissance, rallyes. Dans le même laps de temps pour parfaire mes connaissances, je pars habiter une année à Brenles à l’école des chiens guides pour aveugles ou je travaille comme responsable du chenil et des chiots. Quelques années plus tard Lucky atteint d’une maladie rare nous quitte à l’âge de 9ans. Pour ne pas que Jessy continue seule, j’adopte un chiot labrador de 3 mois, Filou. Une boule d’amour avec qui nous avons découvert le sauvetage à l’eau et pleins de belles choses. Il était aussi particulièrement intéressé à travailler à mes côtés pour aider les autres chiens qui manquaient de codes langages. Et tout naturellement je vais adopter Beauty, une chienne de 6,5 ans avec de gros troubles de comportement. Accompagnée de Jessy et Filou nous allons l’aider à s’épanouir auprès de l’humain dont elle n’avait plus confiance. En observant mes 3 chiens inter agir, je me lance dans une formation de 3 ans pour les Team en difficulté (TeD) et Beauty va m’accompagner. Malheureusement Filou nous quitte d’un cancer foudroyant à l’âge de 5 ans. C’est au tour de Melo de nous rejoindre. Lors d’une visite à domicile chez des clients, ils prennent la décision de l’abandonner à l’âge de 5,5 mois. Mais ce petit chiot décide de sauter dans le coffre de ma voiture et nous repartons ensemble à la maison. Je me retrouve avec Beauty et Melo car Jessy décède peu de temps après Filou à l’âge de 15,5 ans. Je participe à nouveau aux entrainements REDOG avec Melo mais seulement pour une année car un autre rêve m’animait et je décide de reprendre une écurie. En travaillant avec les chevaux en présence de mon fidèle Melo je réalise que je peux créer une autre sorte de relation avec mon chien et non pas seulement avoir un chien de travail. C’est à ce moment là et avec l’aide de mes chevaux que je me remets en question de la manière d’éduquer les chiens. J’introduis gentiment dans mes cours collectifs des petites choses que j’utilise avec les chevaux et c’est incroyable comme les chiens adhèrent. Aujourd’hui j’accompagne beaucoup de team maître-chien en travaillant principalement sur le lien, comment créer la confiance ou chien et maître vivent en harmonie. Melo me quitte le 5 décembre 2022, le jour de la naissance de mes deux magnifiques Golden retriever Happy et Joy. Un nouveau challenge pour moi d’adopter des jumelles. Pleins de questions et surtout de remises en question pour pouvoir évoluer en trio dans l’harmonie. Je dois prendre en compte le caractère très différent de chacune d’elle et observer leurs interactions pour créer une dynamique d’éducation ou la frustration entre les deux chiennes n’a pas sa place. Une expérience incroyable que je découvre au quotidien et qui me permet aujourd’hui d’accompagner des personnes qui souhaitent prendre deux chiots.
